Here's my inspiration for you...

I am so loving this time of year.  The sunshine, crisp air and beautiful colors are always an inspiration to me.  I love wearing jeans and sweatshirts (but, I keep my flip flops on).  Getting ready for the upcoming holiday season and decorating the house are my favorite things to do!

I decided I needed some new fall decorations and bought a couple of the styrofoam pumpkins and mesh ribbon that are everywhere.  Next, I pulled out a pile of scrap cardstock, specialty papers, some embossing folders, and lots of mists and inks to embellish them.

And, this is what I came up with!

After adding leaves using the Crafter's Workshop Pattern Leaves Template and Ranger Distress Inks, I sprayed the pumpkins with Therm-o-web Iridescent Glitter Dust to seal the ink and give it some sparkle!  I love this glitter spray.  It has a beautiful glittery sheen and great texture.

Next, I made lots of leaves with the Sizzix  Leaves 2 and Sizzix/Stampin' Up Autumn Accents Die-cuts and glitter, velvet, shimmer and cardstock papers.  I wanted lots of texture and color on the leaves so I embossed them with various embossing folders from Couture Creations then inked and misted some of them for added color.

I cut a hole in the bottom of the smaller pumpkin and hot glued it over the stem of the larger pumpkin.  I also used hot glue to add the leaves and bow.  The cascading bow is made from Celebrate It 5 1/2" Mesh Ribbon.

I love the overall appearance of the colors and texture on the finished project!
Thanks for stopping by to share my inspiration!
Vicki
