Winter CHA in progress...

Challenge #54: A bit old you said?

"Scor Tape" with Rosemary

Do you have bottles of loose glitter sitting around collecting dust?  I have lots of them, because frankly, I hate using them and having glitter all over the place.  

Well, here's an easy and fairly clean technique to use up those loose glitters and add sparkle to your cards!

You'll need Scor tape (the sheets work awesome for this technique), loose glitter, and a sharp craft knife.

First, you'll want to color up your image.  I used the fabulous Craft Concepts 5th Avenue Glam, Sophia's Garden Embossing Folder and embossed the image onto white cardstock.   Then I colored the sky and grass with chalks.

Next, I turned the cardstock over to the backside, and using a sharp craft knife, I cut out the areas where I wanted to apply glitter. (Flowers and butterfly)

Now, you will want to grab your Scor Tape...the stickiest stuff ever!

 The Scor Tape Sheets would be perfect here, but all I had was the 1/2" roll.

Apply the Scor Tape over the cut outs.

Turn your image over, pour your loose glitter over the sticky areas, and press the glitter into the Scor Tape with your non manicured finger.  You can use this technique with various types of glitter, small beads, Flower Soft, Fun Flock, etc. 

Shake the excess off in the trash.  You may have to gently rub off the surrounding glitter with a tissue.

I used the same technique on TGF Merman Ian's hair.
There are so many uses for this awesome technique.  I hope you try it out on your next creation!
