Alter a piece of wood. I found these word cut outs at my local Dollar Tree and of course they were only a dollar. I knew I would be able to alter these. I started out by painting the entire word then adding pieces of torn paper with Mod Podge. Once dry I used Tim Holtz's old paper distressed ink to give it that vintage look. I then just added some embellishments I had and a few flowers. So, let's see your altered wood item.
