Alcohol Ink and Dominos!

Today's alcohol ink and domino tutorial is presented by Veronica. You can find Veronica's tutorial posted in the Tip, Technique, and Tutorial thread of the Learning Center on the CropStop Forum/Message Board.I used the following supplies: Tim Holtz Alcohol inks, dominos and scrabble tiles from your local department store, Foil Tape, Staz on inks, Assorted Rubber Stamps, and Tim Holtz Applicator for the inks.

Apply a small amount of ink to the applicator. You can blend or just use one ink and swipe over the domino. You will see a few examples in the photos above and below.

I then added the ink to the top of the scrabble tiles.

Now use the foil tape to go around the edges of the domino and the edges of the scrabble tiles.

Use any rubber stamps you like, but you must use Stazon ink or similar to ensure the ink will not smear on the domino.

And if it does smear, not a problem, just use the blending solution and remove the ink and start all over again.

Finally you have your stamped domino and scrabble tiles! I added stickles and liquid pearls.

Visit the CropStop Store for the products used in the tutorial above!

I like to do this with dominos but then don't know what to do with them. They seem too heavy to put on a card or use in an art journal. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
