This week, our CropStop guest designer, Shanna, shares a tutorial for making a Tea Bag Fold card. Follow along with her easy step by step tutorial and create one of your own! Then share it with us by linking to the bottom of this post.
Supplies
Paper Measurements
1 - 4" x 9" Cardstock
1 - 7 1/2" x 8" Cardstock
4 - 3 1/8" x 3 3/4" Second Color of Cardstock or Patterned Paper
2 - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" Second Color of Cardstock or Patterned Paper
1. Score
your 4" x 9" cardstock at 4" and 5". Fold the score lines
and set to one side.
2. Take your 7.5” x 8” cardstock and score at 0.5" and 4" on the 7.5" side. Fold the score lines. Using double-sided tape or other adhesive adhere the 0.5" strip to the other side. You end up with a pocket. (In the image this piece was originally tattered rose but I decided to cut that up as embossed panels).
3. Score the 'pocket' at 3 3/8" and 4 3/8" and fold the score lines.
4. Cut out colored cardstock 4 panels of 3 1/8” x 3 3/4” for the pockets and 2 panels of 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”. Emboss them with embossing folder. Adhere panels to their correct spots.
5. Using a circle punch, or circle die cut, cut out a semi circle on each end of the pockets.
6. Apply double-sided tape or other adhesive to the spine and adhere to the inside of your cardstock or use brads.
7. Decorate the front, fill the pockets, and tie closed.

This is really lovely!
This is different from the one I have done before. I like the detail and the fold is just perfect for other than the tea bag. Thank you for sharing.
