A Great Impression!

Everything, "Tim Holtz" leaves a good impression as far as I am concerned, especially the Texture Fades Embossing Folders he designed with Sizzix! A lasting impression too!

The Texture Fades come in sets of two, so it's a double bonus when you purchase a set.

I used the Bricked, from the "Bricked and Woodgrain Set" for this card. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Mariposa collection. What a fabulous collection of papers!
Here are a couple close up shots of the embossed patterned paper. You can see the brick and mortar design clearly.

A touch of May Art ribbon, some feathers and a twist of wire behind the bow!

I used a Stampin' Up sentiment on a scrap piece of Mariposa paper, cut it out with my favorite Spellbinder Oval Die and matted it with a piece of gold metallic paper cut with the Spellbinder Scalloped Oval Die. The two butterflies are cut from the Mariposa papers too!
